It has worked out perfectly, so far at least. It is summer-like, hot and a bit humid.  Lots of people turned out yesterday for the Chalk-fest, the bean bag competition and the street dance. Today there are numerous local artists out on the sidewalk and the kids inflatables and bungee jump in the Bremer parking lot and the lumberjack events in Wilson Park are well-attended. Tonight there will be bands in many downtown locations and they should draw people out too. The antique auto show and Dunn Run coincided with SummerDaze, so the weekend is proving to be a great start of summer for Menomonie.  Our Main Street Director, Joanie, and the committee she put together have done a wonderful job in planning and executing this celebration.
